September 17th I am, together with students from the Academy of Fine Arts, performing my piece "Horizon. No Horizon". A score of movement to be translated into sound and performance.
This will all happen at Akers Mek., Oslo.
From the program:
Silje Linge Haaland, 21.30
Silje Linge Haaland works with sculptural experiments together with planned, choreographed events.
Linge Haaland examines different states through movement. Movement have consequences. Sound is one of the consequences. At Ultima 2011 Silje Linge Haaland is showing a duett with voice and tuba. Voice: Ingrid Støylen Runde.

Cecilie Bjørgås Jordheim, 22.15
Horizon. No Horizon.
The drawings, taken from YouTube, of a boat's repetitive vertical movement at sea, produced in the spirit of surrealist automatic writing, seeks to be a score of movement; also carrying the possibilitiy to be reproduced in sound. From the boat's bridge point of view, the horizon appears and disappears. At Ultima the movement of the sea is to be performed and heard.

Textfukkers, 00.30
The Textfukkers believes that entertainment is the way of teaching for the new generation. The goal is art theory to the people. The information gets brought to you through CDs, vinyl, USB -sticks, music videos and concerts/performances. All traditional medias from the popular music scene, presented to you in the context of the art scene.
Art today is built on references from the often elitist art theory; the Textfukkers want to give you the theory about art as art. Through simplifying the elitist element in the theory, and do it more accessible to the audience, are T.F. both educating the viewers and making fun of the source of the education. Everything can be accessible.
Textfukkers will be performing a surprise show especially for the Ultima closing party.
